During its annual Marketing Livestream, Google expanded the capabilities of several existing features and products on May 27, 2021.
The first thing Google did was to remove the spending threshold of the Customer Match feature. This could end up making it more useful to businesses of all kinds.
The Google Ads Insights page is also getting something new – the Demand Forecast, which will predict relevant changes to search behavior over the next 90 days.
Finally, Performance Max campaigns are rolling out globally as an open beta. Google said that, “It brings together the best of Google’s automation to help advertisers drive better results across all of Google’s channels: YouTube, Display, Search, Discover and more. Starting today, Performance Max campaigns are expanding to thousands of additional advertisers, with general availability coming later this year.”
Google is also adding support for Performance Max campaigns on the Insights Page as well.
