As Google is an ever changing company that is constantly updating everything from their algorithms to their looks.  As far as their looks are concerned, the Google logo has gone through a number of changes over the course of 20 years, and today, Google is introducing the latest one.  The reason behind the logo’s change, according to Google, is to reflect Google’s multiple products and experiences across different screens:

Today we’re introducing a new logo and identity family that reflects this reality and shows you when the Google magic is working for you, even on the tiniest screens. As you’ll see, we’ve taken the Google logo and branding, which were originally built for a single desktop browser page, and updated them for a world of seamless computing across an endless number of devices and different kinds of inputs (such as tap, type and talk).

Not only is the design and Google “look” changing, but the company is going to use a four-color “G,” which will replace the blue “g” icon.
