Everybody these days seems to be knee deep in technology.  Desktops, laptops, smart phones, tablets and many other devices are filling the void in our lives and has connected us with the rest of the world, even if we aren’t at our desk.

Because we have so many different devices that we go between all the time, Google has decided to optimize your experience with devices that use Google’s services.  Using Google should be as easy as possible, so once you’re in an app, there should be all meat and no fat to distract you from the experience.

An update Google bar has been introduced that will streamline the experience you have across products and devices.

There is now a new app launcher that makes all Google products more accessible.  The app launcher is located at the top right of the screen.  By clicking on the Apps grid that many people have become used to you will gain access to all of the services presented by Google.  This feature is also present on Android devices and Chromebooks.

The color palette and letter shape of the Google logo has been refined as well.  Over the next few weeks, Google will be rolling out this update across most of their products.

Google has been testing this nav launcher since February, if not earlier.
