Google is airing a video that profiles a transgender man’s path to transition in a national television spot during the ESPY Awards on ABC.
It was reported by USA Today that the spot would air on Wednesday. The ad runs for a total of two and a half minutes, and is one of the longest commercials that will run on ABC. The commercial was originally released on YouTube as part of Google’s LGBT Pride Month celebrations back in June. The video has been viewed over 1.3 million times.
The plan is to show the ad during the commercial break before Caitlyn Jenner receives the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage.
