guest-bloggerIt seems that the guest blog train just doesn’t stop.  According to Search Engine Land, a large guest blog network, believed to be has taken a hit from Google in the form of a penalty.

This began yesterday, when confusion first began to take hold as publishers who had content posted on the site would be penalized as well.  As it turns out, it’s a very real possibility.  According to Matt Cutts, head of Google’s search spam, tweeted that a penalty to those publishers will happen.  There are those who took part in publishing content on who have claimed they’ve been struck with manual action notifications in their Webmaster Tools account.

In the post on Search Engine Land, publishers have posted 196 comments that claim they saw drops in their rankings due to the penalties.
