Google’s New Stopwatch & Timer Search Feature

Thrive Business Marketing company logo

Google_logo_color_wideGoogle has been doing some revision to their interactive answer box for a specific searches, like [fusion_builder_container hundred_percent=”yes” overflow=”visible”][fusion_builder_row][fusion_builder_column type=”1_1″ background_position=”left top” background_color=”” border_size=”” border_color=”” border_style=”solid” spacing=”yes” background_image=”” background_repeat=”no-repeat” padding=”” margin_top=”0px” margin_bottom=”0px” class=”” id=”” animation_type=”” animation_speed=”0.3″ animation_direction=”left” hide_on_mobile=”no” center_content=”no” min_height=”none”][timer], [stopwatch] and the like.  The new interface lets you toggle between the timer feature and the stopwatch feature.

You’ll not only have the option of switching between the two, but also run them both simultaneously if you choose.  You can even activate the option to have it beep like an alarm clock.  All you need to do is click on the speaker icon.  The window option will expand the timer/stopwatch to be in fullscreen.

Here’s a screen shot of a search I did for [set timer for 15 minutes]:

Here’s what it would like like in fullscreen:

Finally, here’s the stopwatch:
