Hey Google. Yeah, you. It’s been a while since you’ve done any with with Penguin or Panda algorithms. No updates or refreshes. What’s the deal guys? Everybody is getting restless. The reason we bring this up is because with out refreshes, the people who have been hit with algorithmic penalties can’t recover until the underlining data gets a refresh. And it’s been a while guys.
Even before Penguin 3.0 was released, we were told by Google that there was an algorithm update that would allow for more frequent updates. It’s been eight months and Google is still working on these algorithms refresh faster.
In a Google+ hangout, Google’s John Mueller said this at the 25 minute mark in the video “that is something we are definitely working on to kind of update that data again to make it a little bit faster,” in regards to having the data refresh more often for the Panda and Penguin algorithms.
Here’s the transcript from the video:
We are working on updates there. I don’t have any time frames at the moment but I know the team is working on that. I know it is frustrating, if you’ve worked a lot on your web site already to clean up these issues.
The same applies to Penguin as well. Where maybe you cleaned up a lot of web spam issues. And you are just waiting for things to kind of open up again.
And that is something we are definitely working on to kind of update that data again to make it a little bit faster.
