Are you in the market of buying and selling domains online? I’m sure a number of you would probably say yes, at least at some point. We all have thought about the get rich quick schemes of doing this. After all, all you have to do is have the money and time to do it. Just purchase the domain, fix it up through optimization, and then sell it off at a higher price than what you bought it for. Bingo, money in the bank.
But a question that David Kley asks us all is this.
“Is buying domain names profitable?”
I’m sure you’re thinking that I just answered my own question before I even mentioned the question, and in some ways, yes, it can be. But there’s more to it than that. Is the purchasing and selling of these domains truly worth the money you spend on them?
In his post, David gives us reason to believe that doing this may be more of a headache than originally thought.
