Ever since the pandemic started, more and more Gen Z people have been using online shopping sites more and more. Along with the increase in online shopping, is an increased amount of intolerance of poor digital experiences.
Recently, Sitecore, a digital experience platform, released the second part of a series of surveys that investigates how everything these days is affecting both consumers and marketers. In this second survey, 1,000 Gen Z consumer were asked about their online experiences.
According to Sitecore’s data, Gen Z consumers had an increased impatience with brands who didn’t provide a good digital experience. Because of this, these brands very well could suffer being abandoned by these consumers.
- 63% are impatient with slow or poorly functioning websites;
- 57% are less loyal to brands than before the pandemic;
- 37% will abandon a purchase or post a negative review if the digital experience is bad.
