Business reviewsWhen it comes to posting things online, many people don’t mind or care if their names are associated with the things they post.  When it comes to including your name, posting a review for a movie, a piece of electronics, or a restaurant is typically looked at as ok.  No problems there.  But, when it comes to posting reviews on other online services, such as for a doctor, you want to don’t want include information like your name.  You want to be anonymous.

That’s the problem that people are facing with Google+.  It seems that once Google Places changed over to the new Google+ format, patients lost the ability to leave anonymous reviews.  Because of this, their business, as well as their ranks were actually hurt.

 spoke to some friends of hers, who are doctors, and found that they wanted to know what to do about this situation.  Cindy then spoke to some SEO friends to find out what to do.  She realized that, even though from the stand point of Google, it’s great to have  your name associated with the things you post, as it lends more trustworthiness and credibility to the post, but that’s not always a good thing, especially when the content you’re posting is how great, or bad, your proctologist, gynecologist, etc, is.  You just don’t want to be associated with that.
