Twitter announced that it has moved its tweet box on the Twitter website to the top of timelines. The company says that this should make it easier to tweet.
It just got easier to Tweet on http://t.co/SlNTFacp9A. You can now compose new Tweets at the top of your home timeline.

In case there are those who haven’t used Twitter, or haven’t used it in a long time, the tweet box was on the left side of the page.
Here is what it looks like now with the tweet box on top of the timeline:
It was noted by Mashable that this makes Twitter look more like Facebook. At first glance, you might not think that’s a big deal, but another thing that Twitter is doing to be more like Facebook is changing the text in the tweet box to be more like Facebook. Originally, it said “Compose new tweet”, but now it says “What’s happening?” Sound a little like Facebook, right?
