LinkedIn pages are getting some new features that are designed to facilitate more community engagement and form better relationships with their followers.

LinkedIn says that there are over 50 million organizations around the world who are using pages to connect with customers, prospects and employees. LinkedIn is rolling out regular updates every quarter in order to help out these organizations.

With this newest update, the new features includes the ability to invite to follow, Live integration, and new posting options.

Invite to Follow

In order to assist pages in growing their following, LinkedIn is giving page managers the ability to invite first-degree profile connections to follow their page. Individual users have the choice to opt out of these invites if they don’t want to receive the invitation.

Stream With LinkedIn Live

Pages on LinkedIn can now broadcast live streams, which is a feature that only personal profiles could do. For LinkedIn, live streams generate 7x more reactions and 24x more comments when compared the regular video posts. This feature can be applied for by page managers on the LinkedIn Live website.

Post as a Page or Member

Users can find a new toggle switch on the homepages that will allow users to toggle between posting content as an individual or as an organization. Users previously had to visit their page in order to publish a post as their page. But now, every page can be published from one convenient location.
