Google has seen the loss of another long time Googler. This time, the latest person to leave the search time is Maile Ohye. Maile was best known for her talent for conveying complex technical topics in an understandable and actionable manner.
To her name, Maile has produced quite a few Google webmaster videos, spoken at quite a number of marketing and developer events. She’s even led many of the Google webmaster related initiatives.
Maile began working at Google back in September 2005, and has bee there as a Developer Programs Tech Lead for about 12 years. Maile was the face behind the video from Google on how to hire an SEO and has been a speaker at many of our SMX events.
The reason why she left Google is unknown, as she has not stated why she left, nor do we know what her future plans are. We found about her leaving due to the farewell on Google+ to some of her coworkers and the community.
Maile is the latest Googler to leave, from a long list of Google employees who also left the search company.
