There, I came out and said it. But does me saying it make it true? To many, link building is pretty much a matter of fact. Sure, Google is making it tougher and tougher for us to get out the links we want people to see, since they’re treating them with different levels of quality and trust. Because of this, building links that will allow us to grow our businesses online as well as our organic search traffic is getting tougher all the time.
But is link building really…dead? Sure, things have been shifted around and altered to a point that makes it appear that the link building that we know is dead and gone. But is that really the case? In a post written by Paddy Moogan, you will read about the future of link building. Paddy will indeed be talking about links, and of course link building, but to Paddy, the future isn’t really about links, “it is far bigger than that.”
In his post, which is featured on Moz.com, talks about the sort of links we’ve seen in the past, as well as what we’re seeing right now, and what all of it means for the likes of us, who are trying to carry our online business through the turbulence that is Google’s search engine.
