Just like Customer Match in Google and Custom Audiences in Facebook, advertisers will have the ability to upload customer or prospect email lists to Quora for ad targeting or exclusions.
According to the company, emails are hashed locally on the marketer’s browser before being sent to Quora.
Advertisers are allowed to create lookalike audiences from List Match. With lookalike targeting, machine learning is used to identify people who exhibited similar to those in the see audience.
Emails will be matched to the email Quora users for login purposes.
Last week, Quora added support for multi-event conversion tracking with its pixel.
