Responsive Search Ads Now The Default

Recently, Google announced that responsive search as is officially the default ad type for Search campaigns in Google Ads. It’s still possible to create expanded text ads.

With RSAs, multiple headlines and ad copy variations can still be made, and with machine learning, it will be determined what variations to used based on what queries are being searched for by users. Tests on the variations will help see which combination of them do the best performance-wise.
