Back in 2016, Salesforce purchased commerce platform Demandware, which ended up becoming the basis for its new Commerce Cloud.

Salesforce, with its recent closing its acquisition of commerce platform CloudCraze, is now adding B2B to its Commerce Cloud.  But there’s more to it than that, according to CloudCraze CEO, Andy Peebler.

CloudCraze as another advantage, other than its focus on B2B – it’s build natively onto the Salesforce platform.  In contrast, Demandware was an existing platform that became integrated with Salesforce.
