After looking at the title of this post, you might be thinking, hasn’t summer vacation just started? Why would we want to deal with back-to-school stuff already? That is true, nobody wants to think about it, let alone deal with it. But it’s still going to happen, so we have to think about it, to plan for it. That’s what’s going to happen when it comes to marketing for it. It’s good to plan in advance. It’s almost like marketing for the Christmas, right?
Since back-to-school is a big thing for people, it’s true that about %72.5 billion is made when you combine back-to-school and back to college spending in 2013. As I mentioned a second ago, it’s right up there with Christmas. As a matter of fact, it’s second to the Christmas retail season.
As an advertiser, what are you going to do about it? That’s right! You’re going to prep and prep now! It’s that important if what you’re advertising for something that back-to-schoolers need, such as clothes or school supplies.
