Secrets to Improving Engagement on Your Content Using Word Pictures

Writing As a writer, it’s your job to create not only something for somebody to read, but to create vivid images and stories in the mind of your readers.  In a certain circle of people, those who play the well known table-top game, Dungeons and Dragons would know this concept as ‘theater of the mind’.  If you can tell a story of the right caliber, you can tell an incredible story with your words that creates vivid images in everybody’s mind.  This is what you want to aim for as a writer.

As a writer, you have control over what pictures look like and how long your readers will be mulling over them.  It’s all up to you.  Writing can, and is, important in every aspect of work, which can include content marketing.  In the world of content marketing, if you can harness the potential power that great writing can bring, your words will have the power to ensnare the mind of your readers and make them want to continue reading what you have to say to them.

So how can you make words work for you?  There are a number of ways to do it.  Isla McKetta has written a post on Moz.com that describes ways you, as a writer, create incredible images that can keep your readers interested in what  you have to say.
