It seems that Moz has been cooking something up over the last year, because today, Rand Fishkin has announced on the Moz Blog that the R&D project that they’ve been working on, the Moz’s Spam Score, has finally gone live.
If you’re a user of Moz, you can access Spam Score by getting into Open Site Explorer. You can find it in the top metrics, as well as in its own tab labeled “Spam Analysis.” Currently, it’s available only for Pro subscribers.
In Rand’s post, you will learn about how Moz calculates spam score, what it means, and how it can be used in your SEO work.
