Google is testing dashboards in AdWords Report Editor. This test was noticed by Optmyzr’s Frederick Vallaeys on May 24th, a Tuesday.

Once tables or charts are built in the drag-and-drop Report Editor, advertisers can embed them to a modular and customizable dashboard.  Users have a few options available for dashboards, including the ability to edit, share and download them as PDFs, as well as setting them as a recurring schedules for sharing.  A KPI widget and a text widget are available to include comments to accompany the reporting widgets.

The dashboard function only supports single account data at this point, and isn’t compatible at the Manager Account (MCC) level.

Check out the following screen captures that Vallaeys shared with Search Engine Land.

This view shows the modular blocks in which the dashboards can be built, along with the text widget in use.  Charts and tables can take up multiple blocks.

The above shot shows what the dashboard looks like when completed.

Dashboards are able to be scheduled to be emailed daily, on the first of the month, or weekly.

Currently, the test is quite limited, so it won’t be surprising if you don’t see it in your accounts yet.
