delta_inflight_internet_meme-800x447Have you seen the new in-flight safety video from Delta?  Even if you haven’t seen the entire video, there’s a chance you could have seen parts of it.  Delta has been quite creative with their safety video by including a number of internet memes and stuffing them into the video, creating something both informative, and entertaining, all at the same time.

According to the original news source, Marketing Land, about 1.9 million people viewed the video on May 22nd, and now, on the 25th, it looks like the number of views have doubled since then.

In the video, you’ll see classic internet memes presented, including:

  • The overly attached girlfriend
  • Annoying Orange
  • Evolution of dance
  • Harlem Shake
  • Coke and Mentos
  • And more

There was so much to see, that it took six full minutes to go through the entire video.  The original finger wagging flight attendant, Deltalina even made an appearance.  Finally, there was an interactive part of the video, presented by the Will It Blend guy.  You got to click on multiple selections to visted remixed (blended) version of the video.

Check out the video here:

The video, “The Internetest Safety Video on the Internet,” begins airing on Delta planes today, May 25.  Delta was even promoting the video on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

We see you’re on the Internet. That’s great, because we made a safety video starring the Internet. You can watch it here, on the Internet: deltasafetyvideo.com #Delta #Safetyvideo
