Can you take a guess as to what the top video ad on YouTube was? If you guessed a spot from Omaze.com, which featured Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator pranking fans who thought they were posing with a wax statue, then you’d be right.
There were a bunch of other top video YouTube ads that hit the leaderboard with a vengeance in June, including three new newcomers:
- Dunkin Donuts
Oxiclean’s ad managed to weasel their way into the number 9 spot with an ad that was created in collaboration with BuzzFeed, showcasing how cleaning has changed over the years. Even the video game, Hearthstone hit number 3 on the list for its debut appearance.
Apple and Google managed to get into the top ten list. Apple got two spots with ads that were created using an iPhone 6, and Google hit number 5 with an ad that promotes “Google My Business.”
YouTube said that June’s top ads generated a combined 47.9 million views. With these ads, more than 73 million minutes of total time were viewed.
