Earlier this year, Twitter announced that there was a great new function that allowed Twitter users to add audio clips into their tweets. But it didn’t take very long before people began not using the feature, as it didn’t seem to really add much in way of functionality to the platform.

A big reason the feature didn’t really seem to take off was due to those who were hearing impaired felt like they couldn’t participate conversations.

But now, a new tweet was posted on Twitter:

Although audio tweets are available to more folks (only on iOS…Android is still out of the picture), Twitter affirmed again that they are trying to add auto-captions for voice tweets as soon as it can.
