In a tweet posted by Twitter, their Privacy and Safety settings have been updated to assist people to better understand the information that they share, and how they are able to limit such to protect their account, as well as control their overall experience on the platform.
When you click on the link found in the tweet, you are taken to the platform’s safety and privacy settings page.
According to Twitter, the new icons and improved navigation options were made based on a global privacy study conducted by the Twitter Research team.
A new series of how to videos on Twitter’s Privacy and Security help page outline how the different elements are able to be applied.
