Using Google Plus: A Guide for Local Businesses

Thrive Business Marketing company logo

Google-plus-logoWhen businesses are using social media, which social media venues are the most used?  The most popular forms of social media that people use are probably Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest.  But what about Google+?  Where are all the users who use that?  Businesses who have a social media presence typically over look Google+ and leave it by its lonesome.

It seems one reason for this is that Google has yet to successfully and seamlessly integrate their social network in a relevant manner. Do you have a Google+ account yet?  If so, you’re already on your way to getting your content seen through Google’s social network.  If not, you don’t need to worry.  There are walkthroughs that will help you set up your Google+ account.  But helping with your Google+ set up is not the point.  It’s what you do with it once you’ve had everything set up and ready to go.

The point of the article, written by Brady Callahan, is to teach you how to utilize Google+ properly to create more exposure for your local business.  As long as you know that your business has a Google+ profile already, the information that Brady gives you in his post will act as a guide for social media strategy, SEO tips, as well as ways to always keep your business at the forefront of your customers minds.
