If you are into SEO and online advertising, you have probably heard of a business called Moz. After all, they’re a pretty big in the SEO industry, and they pretty much know what they’re doing. One of the things that Moz is known for are some of their talks and conferences that Rand Fishkin (the founder of Moz) does all around the world.
Because people couldn’t always visit these places to watch Moz related talks like this, Moz started MozTalks, which is a free event that takes place at the MozPlex. Recently, back in September, Moz had hosted a recent MozTalk, where Rand and his wife, Geraldine, spoke at. At this particular event, the main focus was on blogging, driving traffic to your site, and finding your online personality.
To tie in this information and the point I’m getting to, there is a blog post on, not surprisingly, Moz.com that talks these events and the main focus of this post, MozTalk and blogging. When it comes to creating and writing for you blog, wouldn’t it be awesome if people just began loving what you are doing with it, just because you’re doing it? But of course, we know that isn’t always going to happen.
It takes a lot of work to get that far with a blog. The big question is, how do you stand out in the sea of blogs, personalities and all of that? The Moz blog that I referred to earlier in this post has two videos, both of which are of Rand and Geraldine, and both offer tips and tricks on how to drive traffic to your site and get reader to not just read your content, but love what you do.
