Vimeo Create, Vimeo’s marketing platform, has finally been moved out of beta to offer SMP marketers a full suite of video marketing tools. Included in the platform are:
- Video creation tools
- “Smart” editing features
- Unlimited stock video and photo content
- The ability to automatically tailor videos for individual social platforms (“creating videos in every format and ratio”)
Video is a vital component for any complete social marketing strategy, although there are SMB marketers that don’t necessarily have the resources to produce effective video ads. Recently, 1,000 SMB marketers were surveyed by Vimeo, and they found only 22% believed that they were using enough video in their marketing, where they cited time, costs and complexity as the main obstacle to creating a video strategy.
With Vimeo Create, SMB marketers will have affordable access to a video marketing platform. A free trial of Vimeo Create is being offered by the company, although marketers will need the Vimeo Pro subscription. That subscription will set you back $20 a month in order to save and share the videos they create.
Vimeo says it plans to add more templates, creative elements, advanced editing controls and integrations with platforms such as Dropbox, Google and Facebook to Vimeo Create in the coming months.
The platform is available via the web, iOS and Android mobile apps.
