In October of last year, Vistar Media, a digital out-of-home (DOOH) ad platform launched a private marketplace for US and Canadian outdoor signage like billboards, bus shelter displays and screens in taxis.

The firm has launched what it is describing as “the first global dedicated storefront for private marketplace deals” for DOOH that covers the whole process.

CEO Michael Provenzano said that the new “Deals Discovery” allows ad buyers to find inventory and conduct the entire process online.  Before, sellers’s salespeople would contact potential buyers by phone to communicate the inventory opportunity.  After that, the buy would go online to the Vistar marketplae to find the exact signage, set the price and conclude the deal.
