14. 10. 13_snapchat_photo_leak-1840x814It’s awesome how far Snapchat has come in a year since the last Super Bowl, when the four year old company was they had just announced the new feature, Snapchat Discover.  When Snapchat Discover first came out, some of the brands who took advantage of the platform was Mountain Dew, GrubHub and McDonald’s.  Ever since then, Snapchat and their ad offerings have seen nothing but positive growth for the company.

According to comScore data published in the Los Angeles Times, Snapchat grew their 18 to 24 year old base by 56 percent in 2015, and in the same year, the number of 25 to 34 year old years increased by 103 percent.  The  service’s over 35 user base grew by 84 percent as well.

Although Facebook and Twitter might have gotten a majority of the attention for the volume of social ads around the Super Bowl, a number of marketers used Snapchat to do their own unique take on this year’s game, with big advertisers making the most of Snapchat has to sell.

The list of nine brands that advertised on Snapchat for the Super Bowl includes:

  • Gatorade
  • Taco Bell
  • GE
  • Amazon
  • Pepsi
  • Marriott
  • 20th Century Fox
  • Coca-Cola
