Yahoo has, after a number of months of testing with over 100 advertisers, launched custom audience targeting for search and native image and video ads on Yahoo Gemini in the US.
Custom audience targeting was first announced by Yahoo in September, and was in its testing period since January. With this custom audience targeting, advertisers are able to retarget site visitors (whether they’re segmented by page visited or action taken) or import app customer lists for retargeting using mobile advertiser IDs.
Audience creation in Gemini is pretty easy and straightforward. All users have to do is go to the Tools tab, then click Custom Audience to set up an audience of past site visitors or app customers.
