For all those who use Yelp for Business Owner’s mobile app, Yelp has updated both the iOS and Android versions with two primary capabilities:
- Upload photos from the app
- Flag content or reviews that violate Yelp’s terms
According to Yelp in a blog post, they encourage business owners to add images to their profiles, “Consumers spend 2.5 times as much time on business pages with photos vs. those without.”
With this new update, users are provided with a new way for business owners to get the company to review user-content that is believed to be improper or in violation of Yelp guidelines.
Flag reviews, messages and photos: If you believe a review, message or photo is in violation of our Terms of Service or Content Guidelines, you can now flag them directly through the mobile app for our support team to evaluate.
Now, business owners will be able to manage their Yelp accounts and see analytics, respond to reviews publicly or privately and even manage photos with the app.
