YouTube Adds New Tools That Will Detect Copyright Violations, Blocking Them During The Upload Process

Some brand new options are rolling out from YouTube, which will let users have the ability to stop copyright violation during the uploading process, while also detecting IP infringements from within the app.

This new element in the copyright claim process lets creators tick a brand new box during the copyright violation reporting process to ‘Prevent copies of these videos appearing on YouTube going forward’ in the detection/removal options.

According to YouTube, creators have to make sure that they completely own the content found in the video that they are claiming during the process.

But make sure that you don’t abuse this new feature, because you will lose it if you’re found to use it wrongly too often.
