Google Launches ‘Estimated Cross-Device Conversions’ In AdWords, First Stage Of New ‘Estimated Total Conversions’

Google-logo-plain-featuredIn a news article posted today on Search Engine Land by Ginny Marvin, Google has launched a cross-device conversions in AdWords.  This is good news, as this means that Google is taking steps to help advertisers with conversion insights that “reflect the real-world impact of their campaigns.

Google is planning the new Estimated Total Conversions, and this new conversion type is only the first step in the roll-out process.  Over the next few weeks, estimated cross-device conversions will be rolling out globally.

Consumers just want information, they don’t care how they get it. Today’s announcement is about measurement and catching up to the consumer behavior in the real world,” said Google’s Sridhar Ramaswamy, SVP, ads and commerce, by phone.
