Yelp Introduces ‘Business Accused Of Racist Behavior’ Consumer Alert

There are two initiatives that were announced by Yelp recently that was made to help combat racism, ultimately helping with inclusion among local businesses.

Yelp took an already existing relationship with non-profit consortium Open to All and expanded it to create training resources available for SMBs to “uplevel their diversity and inclusion practices.”

The other initiative, Yelp says, will place a new category of consumer alerts on profile pages of local businesses that were accused of behavior deemed racist or discriminitory.
