As we close in for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament, Bing has launched a “Sportcaster” Messenger bot that can help update fans on their favorite teams, players and game schedules.
According to the announcement, users are able to search “Bing Sportscaster,” which will let them find the bot on Facebook Messenger,and from there, they can “….start the conversation.”
Users will only have to tell the bot the name of the team that they want to follow, and the it’ll return relevant results, which includes game schedules and player information.
According to Bing, the Sportscaster bot will message a user if the team that they follow advances to the next round of tournament play. Sportscaster even has an integrated Bing Predicts technology to offer insight into what teams are most likely to win.
