If you advertise for cryptocurrency, then you may find yourself with a problem fairly soon, as your existing certification will become null.
Google made an announcement regarding their new policies cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets and the new certification process yesterday. According to the new announcement, any Cyrptocurrency Exchange certifications that you had that was normally approved will now be revoked after August 3.
That doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to advertise cryptocurrency anymore though. Advertisers will have to request new Cryptocurrency Exchanges and Wallets certification with Google Ads.
The certification application form that you will need will be published on July 8, 2021.
