Google Changes Info Command Search Operator, Dropping Useful Links

Thrive Business Marketing company logo

Recently, it was confirmed by Google that they have changed the way the info command, a search operator that gives users more details about a site, is displayed in search.

Before the change, the info operator would give searchers the snippet plus additional links to find more operators that show links to the site, the Google cache link, similar sites to that site and more.  Now, that whole section has been removed.  Google now just shows the snippet.

This is what it looks like now:

According to Google, this is the new changed behavior for the command.
