As we watch Instagram grow with more functionality as time goes on, the social platform wants to see their users be able to focus more and more on what they post within each element so that engagement on that post can really grow..
Recently, notifications began to be sent out by Instagram to certain users. Instagram is doing a post where some users are stopped from sharing feed posts within their Stories.
This sounds counter intuitive, but you are now able to share tweets in your IG Stories, but you can’t share Instagram posts as well as sharing IGTV previews. You just can’t share feed updates.
So basically, if you wan to see somebody’s IG story, you’ll need follow them so you’ll see their stories at the top of your bar. But of course, you’ll be seeing their regular posts in your feed if you do follow them.
