It seems TikTok has been given a new lease on life here in the US, as Oracle, which leads a consortium group, submitted its proposal on a takeover of the US operations of Chinese-owned TikTok.
For those not in the know, this deal was created in order to deal with concerns over the data sharing that could be happening with the Chinese Government utilizing the TikTok app.
According to the US president, he agreed to the terms outlined in the Oracle-lead deal:
“I have given the deal my blessing, if they get it done that’s great, if they don’t that’s okay too. I approved the deal in concept.”
