As an SEO who works with clients everyday, it’s easy to see why it can be hard to truly see how major Google algorithm updates affect our industry s a whole.  It’s possible to perform our best after test after test to see how our clients are affected, but what about the account manager or technical SEO director who has worked extra hard to placate possibly panicked and frustrated clients?  How are these individuals affected?

BrightLocal had anonymously polled 650 SEOs professionals recently on this very subject.  They were asked a number of questions about algorithm updates and how it impacted their workload, the relationships they have with their clients, and their overall job satisfaction.
