Over the last couple of years, TikTok has seen a lot of growth. In 2021, TikTok is projected to reach 1.2 billion users, despite all of the road blocks it has seen, including the possibility of being shutdown in the US, and the actual shutdown in India.
According to Intagram, Reels is growing, and is constantly adding new discovery tools to its repertoire. But will this be enough to make Instagram Reels become something of a true rival to TikTok? The Influencer Marketing Factory conducted a study to get an idea of comparative engagement and performance of Reels versus TikTok clips.
