For the longest time, YouTube was always known as a video platform. There, you were meant to watch videos uploaded to the site, but these days, more people are coming to YouTube to check out their audio-only options, including the likes of YouTube Music. I personally loving the story videos that have begun showing up over the last few years.
In November of 2020, YouTube announced audio ads options, which would allow marketers to connection to their target audience even more.
The team from Creatopy recently did some testing with video and audio ads on YouTube, where they found there are some key similarities between these two different ad formats. The findings were then compiled into the following infographic, which you can find below.
