One of the cool announcements that came out of AMP Con 2018 in Amsterdam was the introduction of AMP Stories, which is a new format similar to Snapchat and Instagram Stories.  AMP Stories is implemented via a new accelerated mobile pages (AMP) component.

But what sets it apart from Snapchat and Instagram Stories, is that AMP Stories are going to be found in a mobile Google search engine results page.  Just like the rest of the AMP Project, other platforms are to leverage the format as well.  Users are provided with a high engaging slideshow experience with rich media features, like video, audio, pictures and text in a format that mobile users tend to love.
