Every new marketing deliver system begins with a sing approach (this includes the likes of TV, websites, social media, or mobile).  When mobile first got on its feet, marketers would contemplate if they had “a web strategy” or “a mobile strategy.”

After a while, they were able to discover a number of different strategies that are required for the many different kinds of web experiences on the different kinds of mobile experiences.

It is going to be the same way with the voice-controlled intelligent agent and interface.  Even though right now, it’s generally looked at as a voice-mediated channel, but soon, the variations inside this voice channel will result in a wide variety of strategies.
