Google-mobile-smartphones-blue-ss-1920-800x450Mobilegeddon is here, and it’s here to stay.  Google has finally confirmed that the mobile friendly algorithm has fully rolled out to all data centers and completely in place.

There is even more confirmation, coming from the likes of Gary Illyes from Google, who confirmed this on Twitter saying “the algo is rolled out.”

Barry Schwartz asked if the Google Mobile algorithm had been fully rolled out even after a week and a half after it’s initial release, since webmaster hadn’t seen any significant changes in their mobile results.  But hey, Google says it’s fully rolled out, that means it’s out.

Gary added a caveat:

Not all pages were reindexed yet so they don’t have the new scores. Yet.

Also, there were a load of sites that became MF recently, so the actual number of sites affected decreased considerably.

Even though the changes don’t seem as massive as we all feared, there still seem to be some slight changes in the mobile search results though.
